At the July 11, 2023 meeting of the JWSC Board of Directors, the Board voted to institute a change to the current Drought Contingency Plan regarding water consumption. The change is as follows: “Members will be limited to a maximum monthly usage not to exceed 50,000 gallons for single-family residences. The maximum allowance will be adjusted proportionately for multi-family residences and commercial properties with larger meters. Amounts used over the maximum allowance stated will be billed at twice the standard gallonage rate.”
